After a splendid performance at the Cliff Anderson Sport Hall last weekend, for one of the most hyped gospel shows, the anointing continues this evening with the most anticipated, “Lift Every Praise” concert at the Mackenzie Sports Club (MSC) featuring some of the best in Guyana.
All focus however, will be placed on Guyanese born, Eddie Neblett who has returned for the United Stated to perform at the event. He is no stranger to Guyana and to gospel music since he actually started his gospel musical career here.
His mother raised him in the church and put him in the choir at the age of seven and later urged him to enter and sing in various shows. As he grew in experience, he recorded his first song “We can make it” followed by his breakthrough hit “Love N’ Unity” with its infectious beat, catchy lyrics, and his now famous trademark, rapid-rap style.
Neblett teamed up with his band Second Coming, to produce what is his favourite song, “Anointed”. He has performed at shows in Brazil with Second Coming and also in Barbados, Suriname, St Lucia, St Vincent and Trinidad. He was featured with the top gospel reggae band, Christafari, while they performed in Georgetown. However, this evening, he will be joined by several other gospel artistes including Candy Duke, Rene Winter, Redeemers Band, Malika Boyd, Samuel Medas and many others.
Tickets for this anointed night cost $1000 and are available at the Muslim Top Up Shop. The event is promoted by Tag Productionz and Devine Entertainment.
