Lima Sands woman charged for malicious wounding

Thirty-eight-year-old Lavern Joseph of Lima Sands, Region Two (Pomeroon-Supenaam), was on Tuesday granted ,000 bail on a charge of inflicting grievous bodily harm to another woman. Joseph made her first appearance before Magistrate Sunil Scarce at the Anna Regina Magistrate’s Court.
She pleaded not guilty to the charge, which stated that on September 14, 2016, at Lima Sands, she unlawfully and maliciously wounded SherileyCoxall.
The Prosecution did not object to bail for the mother of three and the case will continue on October 11.
