Linden businessman gets bail on firearm, ammo possession

A Linden businessman was granted bail by Magistrate Wanda Fortune on Friday after he pleaded not guilty to the offence of firearm and ammunition possession.
The accused, Toriano Jeffers also called “Tito”, of Lot 556 Block 22, Wismar, Linden, appeared at Linden Magistrate’s Court via Zoom.
The Magistrate granted bail in the sum of $150,000 for the firearm charge and Jeffers was released on his own recognisance for the ammunition charge. The case was adjourned until April 30, 2021.
