Linden man gets 18 months on break-and-enter charge

Thirty-eight-year-old Devon Higgins, a porter of Canvas City, Wismar Linden, was on Thursday sentenced to 18 months’ imprisonment on a break-and-enter charge.
He made a virtual appearance before Magistrate Wanda Fortune at the Linden Magistrate’s Court, where the charge was read to him. The Administration of Justice Act (AJA) was applied, and he pleaded guilty to the charge.

The Police have said that Higgins was arrested on Tuesday for the offence of break-and-enter-and-larceny contrary to Section 229 (a) of the Criminal Law Offences Act Chapter 8:01, committed on the dwelling house of Shelly Higgins.
The incident reportedly took place between Monday and Tuesday last at Canvas City, Wismar Linden.
