A Linden man who allegedly exposed his genitals during a dispute was remanded to prison.
Edward Reddock was arrested on August 1 and charged for two counts of assault and two counts of exposure of genitals, which occurred on June 18.
Police have said the 49-year-old man of Lot 678 South Amelia’s Ward, Linden was charged under Section 21 of the Summary Jurisdiction Act Chapter 08:02, and Section 28 (2) (a) of the Sexual Offences Act Chapter 8:03.
On Wednesday, he appeared virtually before Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan and pleaded guilty to the two counts of assault, and was fined $15,000 for each charge. He, however, pleaded not guilty to the two counts of exposure of genitals, and was remanded to prison. The case will continue on August 19.
