Serojnie Gem Naraine, a People’s Progressive Party (PPP) Councillor in Region Ten’s (Upper Demerara-Berbice) Regional Democratic Council has died.

The PPP in a statement expressed its condolences to the relatives, friends and residents of Region 10 on the passing of Narine.
“Cde Gem was a passionate and dedicated activist and also a community leader of the Speightland Community,” the party said.
Several persons have taken to social media to offer condolences to the bereaved family members and friends of Narine.
