Dead teacher: Keisha Wilson

Family members have alleged that the mother of one left her home in Linden on Monday, claiming that she was going to conduct a “test” at the medical facility.
However, they told Guyana Times that Wilson was later admitted to the hospital later in the evening and was allegedly on ‘suicide’ watch.
A family member alleged that the woman was placed in a room with “mentally- ill” patients following her admission.
One relative further related that they were later informed that the teacher had committed suicide and an investigation had been launched.
Relatives explained that the now dead woman appeared to be in good spirits apart from a few “depressing posts” she recently made on social media.
Only recently, this publication understands, the now dead woman confided in an aunt about “giving up”.
A post-mortem is expected to be performed on her body today. Attempts to get a comment from the Public Relations Department of the medical facility proved futile.
