Linden teen to do community service for narco trafficking charge

Nineteen-year-old Nicholas Rajdhana was sentenced to community service when he appeared before Magistrate Clive Nurse at the Linden Magistrate’s Court to answer to the charge of possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking.
Rajdhana pleaded guilty to the charge.
The court heard that the prohibited drug was found on the person of the accused of Blueberry Hill Squatting area, Wismar, Linden, while he was being arrested for an alleged break and entry and larceny charge on March 25, 2018.
A search of his person was conducted and a transparent zipper bag containing leaves, seeds and stem suspected to be cannabis sativa was found in his front pants pocket. The prohibited substance was weighed at the Wismar Police Station and was found to be three grams.
Magistrate Nurse ordered Rajdhana to complete 90 hours of community service at the Wismar Police Station which is expected to be completed by April 16 or face six months in prison.
