Linden vendor slapped with ganja, illegal gun, ammo possession charges
Royston Hilliman, a vendor of Main Street, Amelia’s Ward, Linden, Region 10, was slapped with possession of two grams of cannabis, 19 grams of Methamphetamine, illegal firearm and ammunition charges.
The 47-year-old man appeared before Magistrate Wanda Fortune at the Linden Magistrate’s Court via Zoom.
He pleaded guilty to the possession of cannabis charge and was fined $5000 but denied the other charges. He was released on $40,000 bail for the possession of narcotics (methamphetamine) and $200,000 bail for the possession of firearm. He was released on his own recognisance for the illegal possession of ammunition charge.
The case was adjourned to November 10.
