Lindener jailed for 5 years for illegal gun, ammo

A 29-year-old miner was sentenced to five years’ imprisonment on Thursday after he admitted being in possession of an illegal gun and matching ammunition.
Kellon Mc Leod, called “Pinny” of Victory Valley, Wismar, Linden, appeared before Magistrate Clive Nurse at the Wales Magistrate’s Court, where he pleaded guilty to the unlawful possession of firearm and ammunition without licence charges.
The Police said that the miner was found in possession of a .38 revolver and seven matching rounds early Wednesday morning in Mackenzie, Linden.
