Lindener on trial for narco possession

Forty-two-year-old Ceon Grant on Tuesday appeared before Magistrate Clive Nurse at the Linden Magistrates’ Courts for alleged narco trafficking.The defendant, of 35 Wisroc Housing Scheme, Mackenzie, Linden, is accused of having 1100 grams of cannabis sativa in his possession on Monday, January 16, 2017 at Mabura Public Road, Region 10 (Upper Demerara-Berbice).
The defendant, who was previously granted bail, is being represented by Attorney Gordon Gilhuys. The matter was adjourned until March 14, 2018.
