Link Show 34 for NCC this weekend

The wait is over and the tickets are going like hot cakes as one of the most popular theatrical productions, the Link Show, hits the National Cultural Centre for its 34th edition this weekend.

Over the past 33 years, thousands have gathered at the NCC to have a good laugh from presentations performed by a host of talented actors.
KFC Link Show 34 satires our current political and social situation along with political and topical personalities in a very funny and entertaining manner. Audiences can look forward to an evening of relaxation and lots of laughter.

The production which premiered in November 1981 has been thrilling audiences from Charity to Linden and Corriverton and New Amsterdam and between 1997-2001 in the USA and Canada over the years.

The cast will comprise of both experienced actors and some promising newcomers. Link Show stalwarts such as Sonia Yarde, Michael Ignatius, Mark Luke Edwards, Mark Kazim, Sean Thompson, Randy Critchlow, Simone Persaud, Simone Dowding, Rajan Tiwari, Nirmala Narine, Paul and Sean Budnah will be joined by other seasoned actors such as Sheron Cadogan, Nathaya Whaul, Melika Edmonds, Nelan Benjamin, Makini Thompson, Troy Parboo, Raymond Persaud, along with newcomers on the scene – Zoya Moore, Tamepha Rodney, Rovindra Persaud, Lee Leung, Joshua Persaud, Yohance Koama and Nalini Narishwarie.

There will be a live performance from a local artiste as an incentive for your continuous support of the show on a yearly basis.
The show gets underway at 20:00h (8:00 pm) and rest assure, your vehicles will be secured since there will be lots of security. The KFC Link Show 34 is produced by GEMS Theatre Productions and The Theatre Company and is directed by Ron Robinson.

Tickets cost $2000, $1200 and $1000 and are available at the National Cultural Centre, KFC locations – Mandela Avenue and Regent and King Streets outlets.
