Local cricketers Joseph and Yadram enjoying stint in USA

Guyana’s local cricketers Kumar Joseph and Kamesh Yadram continue to enjoy good outings in the United States of America (USA). Joseph is a former Rose Hall Town Youth and Sports Club player, while Yadram is a former Guyana youth player who played for Enterprise Cricket Club.

Each of these players has recorded impressive performances recently. In 17 games, Kamesh Yadram, older brother of Bhaskar Yadram, scored 479 runs at an average of 43.5; made a high-score of 98, and took 15 wickets.
Regarded as an economical off-spinner, Kumar Joseph played 14 games in the season and claimed 23 wickets, with an economy rate of less than six runs per over. Joseph had a best figure of 4-4.
Notably, he reached the landmark of 100 wickets, and has a total of 123 scalps in the 78 official matches he has played in the USA.
In the 14 games he played in this truncated season, he rocked the outfits for the New York Fearless in the Bangladesh Premier League in the tournament he played in New York, International Cavaliers and Kings XI in Minnesota.
Yadram also represented International Cavaliers and Kings XI, and was part of the Cavaliers championships victory in Minnesota.
