Lorry driver arrested for dumping mud along Heroes Highway

Moments after carelessly dumping a heap of mud along Heroes Highway, which created a hazard for other motorists, the truck driver responsible was arrested.
This was according to the Police, who stated that swift action by traffic ranks resulted in the arrest and impounding of the lorry as investigations continue.
The Police also added that charges are imminent.
The Public Works Ministry was engaged and subsequently facilitated the prompt removal of the mud and restored the roadway to safe driving conditions.
Motorists were urged to exercise caution while traversing the area and to comply with directions from Police ranks on the ground.
