With the Guyana Cricket Board (GCB) Under-15 Inter-County two weeks away, the Demerara Cricket Board (DCB) continued to prepare their players.
The second-round matches that were played at Lusignan and Everest saw East Bank Demerara and Georgetown registering wins in the respective encounters.
The talented all-rounder, Taddeus Lovell continued his consistency in the two matches he played, scoring a brilliant 60 to lead the East Bank team past West Demerara at Everest. Zachary Jodah was the chief destroyer with the ball when East Bank completed a 95-run win.

With early-morning rain in the capital city; at the Everest Cricket Club, the Mavindra Dindyal-led East Bank team won the toss and opted to bat. They chalked up 149 in 35.1 overs in the reduced 42 overs match. Lovell, who scored 31 in the first round, produced a masterful innings of 60, including 11 boundaries.
