Lucozade Hardball emerge as champions of the Influencers Cup 2023
Team Lucozade Hardball, featuring DJ Magnum, emerged as champions of the Influencers Cup at the Georgetown Club on Saturday, October 28 ,2023 with sensational hitting of the ball at all angles over the field against the Mighty Gunners, featuring Travis Chase.
The Hardball team won the toss and elected to bat, taking full advantage with Ravindra Rodrigues scoring a massive 61 off 23 balls, accompanied by Sagar Hatiraman with 32 runs from 18 balls along with Captain Mikhiel Da Silva contributing 27 runs from 10 balls.
The Gunners were pivotal in the field restricting the Lucozade batting attack to 158-3, with wickets coming from Moffett, Dodson, and Leung, each taking one apiece.

The Mighty Gunners did not give up with Alex Armagaon starting the batting attack, scoring 64 off 33 balls, but without a partner to help him, the team failed to thump the Hardball outfit. Captain Da Silva, AVA, and Boya restricted the Gunners to 105 for 3.
The third-place play-off saw the Thunder Strikers coming out victorious against Wild Wolves, with the Strikers batters setting up a strong total with S Williams scoring 23 runs off 12 balls and A Scipo striking the ball from 16 runs from 10 balls.
Russel Madramatoo and Nikosi White were pivotal in the bowling attack for the Wolves as they took one wicket each restricting the Strikers to 56-2.
The Strikers looked to chase the score as A Meridith made 20 runs off eight balls, accompanied by K Blades, who contributed 18 runs off 12 balls which were not enough to carry them over the finish line as Captain Alanzo Scipio, along with Jonte Thomas and Shaquille Williams, taking one wicket each restricted the Strikers to 48-3 .
