Lucozade/iCool 11-stage cycling meet pedals off today
Beverage giant ANSA McAL has collaborated with National Cycling Coach Hassan Mohammed to bring fans the inaugural run of the Lucozade/iCool 11-stage cycling programme, which is set for today at the inner circuit of the National Park.
Riders will converge to gain ranking points as the best rider in the country as well as a spot on the national team to represent the nation at the Caribbean Championships.
At the ANSA McAL head office, Mohammed said he was quite pleased to have the company on board, recognising its contribution to sports locally.
Among the top riders to contest the feature 35-lap School Boys and Invitational will be Romello Crawford, Evolution pair Paul DeNobrega and Christopher Griffith alongside Cocos’ Jamaul John, Alanis’s Alanzo Ambrose and Nigel Duguid, We Stand United’s Andrew Hicks, Silvio Innins, Deeraj Garbarran, and Linden Bauxite Flyers’ Michael Anthony.
