Naresh Robinson and Ricardo France of Mabaruma in the North West District of Region One were flown to the city to be arraigned before Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan on a charge of unlawful wounding, which allegedly occurred during a fight.
The prosecution’s case is that with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, the men wounded Dwight Benjamin on April 9 at Wauna Village, Region One.

The court was informed that Benjamin is still hospitalised at the Georgetown Public Hospital (GPH), undergoing treatment for his injuries.
The men have been remanded to prison, and the case is set to continue before the Mabaruma magistrate on May 23.
