Norman Madhoo was named champion of the recently concluded Sudesh Fitzgerald Darts Challenge which was held at the Malteenoes Sports Club Pavilion on Friday October 28.
Madhoo was outstanding throughout the singles matches as he finished atop the other competitors. In second place was Lallchand Rambharose while Luis Ramirez Merlano came in third.
Meanwhile in the Luck of the draw, Fitzgerald and Merlano claimed first and were followed by Rambharose and D. Correia and A. Chandro and Madhoo in second and third respectively. Although Rambharose failed to finish at the summit of the singles and luck of the draw, he gained big on incentives. He dominated the incentives by hitting the only 180, the highest check out of 155 and scoring the shortest game of 15 darts. Trophies and cash prizes were awarded to the players to the tune of $30,000
The organizer praised Dr. Terrence Joseph, Rambharose and Joseph Patrick Allen for coming on board once again.
This evening starting at 19:00 hours Fitzgerald has organize a luck of the draw doubles at the said venue. Entrance fee $500. Cash prize up for grabs to the tune of 25000.
