Forty-three-year-old Fitzroy Roberts of Belmont Mahaica, East Coast Demerara (ECD) was on Friday last placed on $75,000 bail after he was charged with narcotics possession.
Roberts, a labourer was reportedly arrested on Friday, April 5, 2024, and later charged with Possession of Narcotics for Trafficking.
He appeared at the Mahaica Magistrate’s Court before Magistrate A. Wilson, where the charge was read to him and he pleaded not guilty. As such, he was granted bail and the matter was adjourned to May 9, 2024.
