Twenty-four-year-old Stefan Vaughn was on Friday arraigned in Senior Magistrate Leron Daly’s Georgetown court on a robbery charge, and has been placed on $70,000 bail after pleading not guilty to the charge.
It is alleged that on March 24, at South Road Georgetown, while armed with a knife, he robbed Chandat Singh of $100,000 in cash.
During his address to the court, Vaughn said he has an alibi. He claimed he was at the St George’s Cathedral at the time of the alleged robbery. He was thus released on bail, and his next court date is June 24.
