A 45-year-old man was on Friday remanded to prison pending sentencing after pleading guilty to breaking into a Masjid at La Bonne Intention, East Coast Demerara.
It is alleged that on Thursday he broke and entered a place of worship contrary to Section 232 (a) of the Criminal Law Offences Act Chapter 8:01
Rafeek Ally appeared before Magistrate Alisha George at the Sparendaam Magistrates’ Courts.
He will return to court on September 15 for sentencing.
