A man was caught with a smoke grenade about 01:35h at Middle Walk, Victoria, East Coast Demerara (ECD) on Tuesday.
According to Police, the man was discovered with the item after Police responded to a damage to property report from a taxi driver of Victoria Middle Walk.
Upon seeing the Police ranks, the suspect began running, resulting in ranks giving chase. He was eventually caught and the suspected smoke grenade was found in his possession. As such, he was escorted to the Cove and John Police Station. (G9)
