Man gets 9 months for unlawful wounding

Ulric Bennett will spend the next nine months in prison after he was found guilty on two counts of unlawful wounding.
Bennett, who appeared before Magistrate Dylon Bess at the Linden Magistrate’s Court, pleaded guilty to both charges.
Police stated that on March 4, 2020, at Andyville, Squatting Area, Wismar, Linden, Bennett unlawfully and maliciously wounded Collene Bennett.
He was also accused of unlawfully wounding Reyola Bennett on the same day at the same location.
Bennett was sentenced to six months imprisonment for the first count of unlawful and malicious wounding and three months for the unlawful wounding of the second Virtual Complainant. The sentences will run concurrently.
