A man was moments ago killed after he was struck down by a truck at Ruimveldt, Greater Georgetown.
The accident occurred in the vicinity of the traffic light at the junction connecting Mandela Avenue with the East Bank Demerara (EBD) Highway.
The identity of the victim is not yet known. Police are on the scene.
