Man of unsound mind terrorising Supenaam residents

― villagers call for urgent Police intervention

Residents living at Good Hope and Supenaam villages in Region Two (Pomeroon-Supenaam) are calling for urgent Police intervention in dealing with a man, suspected to be of unsound mind, who is roaming the area on a daily basis.
According to concerned residents, the male who goes by the name of Mark Diamel aka ‘Tout’, is regularly seen with a cutlass and other dangerous weapons in the area.
Only recently the vagrant approached an elder from the village and dealt the man several chops about his body; the man was hospitalised.
Those living in the area explained that they have made repeated reports to the Aurora Police Station but to date nothing has been done to address the situation. They are fearful for their and their children’s lives.
Many are calling for ‘Tout’ to be removed from the area and taken to an environment where he will be given necessary medical treatment.
