Man on $100,000 bail for fraudulent conversion

A man was released on 0,000 bail on Wednesday, when he appeared before Magistrate Judy Latchman to answer to a charge of fraudulent conversion.

Virtual Complainant and was to return two ounces of raw gold, along with US$300. However, Fortune fraudulently converted the property to his own use and benefit.

Magistrate Latchman granted bail at the sum of $100,000 and Fortune is set to reappear at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Courts on February 16.
