Man placed on $30,000 for threatening behaviour

A man was on Wednesday fined $30,000 for threatening another man when he appeared at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Courts. Rawle Robertson denied that he threatened Eon Croft on April 17, 21 and 23, 2018, thereby breaching a bond to keep the peace.
The man told the court that he along with Croft should be fined as both of them were threatening and cursing each other.
However, Magistrate Fabayo Azore placed Robertson on $10,000 for each of the three offences and he is expected to return to court on May 2.
