That charge stated that the accused on January 15, 2017 at Kamaka, Moruca Village, NWD, murdered Robert Ferreira called “Bobby”.
James, who appeared at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Courts without legal representation, will make his next appearance on January 23, this time before Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan.
On the day of Ferreira’s demise, he, along with friends, was visiting Moruca Village, for a party.
However while there, an argument erupted between the now deceased, his friends and another group. After the argument escalated, one of the men broke a bottle and stabbed Ferreira to his leg.
The man was rushed to the hospital, but later succumbed to his injuries.
James was identified as the alleged stabber and was later arrested and charged.
