A man who was being pursued by the Police for questioning in a wounding incident committed on a Timehri, East Bank Demerara (EBD) woman has been arrested on Thursday.
According to Police, 32-year-old Fadil Shaw was nabbed at Three Friends village on the Essequibo Coast in Region Two (Pomeroon-Supenaam). Shaw, a labourer of Timehri, EBD, was accused of wounding the 31-year-old woman back in 2020, and of ‘stalking and attempting to kill’ the same woman about two months ago.
He remains in custody at the Anna Regina Police Station, pending charges.
