“Mardi Gras: The Masquerade Ball” for Old Year’s Night

The Society Against Sexual Orientation Discrimination (SASOD) is hosting its first Old Year’s Night party dubbed “Mardi Gras: The Masquerade Ball” on Saturday, December 31, at Triumph Lounge, Lot 8 Barrack Street, Kingston, Georgetown.fete-1
Partygoers are encouraged to come out early and indulge one last time for 2016! The festivities start at 21:00h with free cocktails for partygoers who arrive before midnight, free party favours and free finger foods.
Mix Master Tony will keep the celebrations energised with the best hits in all genres of music as we bid farewell to 2016 and usher in 2017. Revellers are encouraged to wear their best “Carnivalesque” party attire and take full advantage of all the offerings at “Mardi Gras: The Masquerade Ball”.
Limited pre-sold tickets cost $2000 and can be purchased from Oasis Cafe, 125 Carmichael Street; Triumph Lounge, 8 Barrack Street; Vintage Wine Bar and Lounge, 218 Lamaha Street; and SASOD’s office, 169 Charlotte Street.
Patrons will pay more at the door.
All proceeds from this fundraiser go to SASOD’s LGBT Emergency Shelter Fund to provide emergency shelter for LGBT victims of violence in Guyana.
