Massy celebrates 50 years in Guyana

As the Massy Group of Companies celebrates its 50th year of operations in Guyana, the company made financial donations to 26 Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) from Demerara, Essequibo, Linden, and Berbice.

In delivering the feature address, Massy Guyana Group Country Manager Deo Persaud lauded the representatives who attended the ceremony for their continued commitment and dedication to helping the less fortunate in Guyana and he said that the Group took its social responsibility seriously.
“These donations are not the only way in which we serve our communities, we conduct volunteer work in communities in which we operate,” he noted.
The beneficiaries were the Guyana Relief Council, Bernice Mansell Foundation, Canaan Children Home, Cheshire Home, Deaf Association of Guyana, Guyana Book Foundation, Hauraruni Children’s Home For Girls, New Amsterdam Special Needs School, New Opportunity Corps, Prabu Sharan Orphanage, Radio’s Needy Children’s Fund, Ruimveldt Children’s Aid Centre, and Help & Shelter.
Others were Alternative Learning System, Step By Step Foundation, Uncle Eddie’s Home, East Bank Demerara Special Needs School, Bal Nivas Orphanage, St John Bosco Orphanage, Guyana Council of Organisations For Persons With Disability, Guyana Red Cross Society, Children’s Convalescent Home, Women Across Differences, Keem Foundation, Stem Guyana, David Rose School For The Handicapped, and East Canje Humanitarian Organisation For Support.
