Matarkai Sports Council extends logo competition deadline

Matarkai Sports Council (MSC) is asking all artists, including novices, to submit logos that meet the criteria listed as the logo competition deadline is now extended to Wednesday, December 9, 2020.
The MSC expressed gratitude for its sponsors’ generosity in providing the following prizes:
1st prize: $25,000 + trophy
2nd prize: $15,000 + trophy
3rd prize: $10,000 + trophy
The cash prize for first place was donated by International Imports and Supply while the trophy was contributed by Fran Store and Variety. The second-place cash prize was contributed by Sunshine Lady Enterprise and the trophy was contributed by Fine Man Workshop, while the cash prize for third place and trophy were donated by Brian Thomas.
Special thanks were also extended to Andre Gamell, Harry Barber Shop, Melanie Leung De Oliveira, Eon Phillips, Delon Spare Parts And Mining Equipment, the Neighbourhood Democratic Council (NDC) and Five Sisters Hotel.
Criteria for MSC Logo Competition:
1. The competition is open for submission of a logo artwork generally.
2. The Guyana Coat of Arms must be included in the submission.
3. The name of the Council must be included in the submission.
4. All the areas of the Council (sport disciples) must be represented in the submission.
The artist’s name and telephone number must be included when submitting logos.
Logos must be submitted to Matarkai Sports Council electronically.
Please WhatsApp all logos with the first name, surname and telephone number of the artist to MSC Secretary Linden Green on 603-5369. All logos will be published on December 10 through December 12 on MSC’s page where members of the public will vote for logos.
