Matthews Ridge farmer charged with Police’s murder

A Matthews Ridge, North West District, man on Friday appeared in the Georgetown Magistrates’ Courts before Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan, charged with murder.
Dennis Marks, 38, a farmer of Matthews Ridge was arraigned for the murder of Leonard Larose, a Police officer.
It is alleged that on March, 1, 2016 at Matthews Ridge he murdered Larose.
He was not required to plead to the indictable charge.
The accused who seemed to have been in pain, due to a broken leg was transported by police officers to the courtroom, in a chair.
He was remanded to prison by Chief Magistrate McLennan and will make his next court appearance on May 3 at the Matthews Ridge Magistrate’s Court.
