Renowned local designer, Maxi Krishan Williams, is ready to hit the road on Mashramani Day, with his costumes titled “Zeal” – one with a difference.
The designer has been working around the clock to get the costumes ready for at least 70 band members. His designs depict a greener economy in addition to showcasing what the Republic celebration is all about.
Only recently, the designer called on corporate Guyana to get on board, sighting sponsorship as a major challenge in bringing his designs to reality. Nevertheless, he is catering for his supports, noting that with or without sponsorship, a delegation from his Mash camp will be on the road.
