Mayors Cup tournament continues this weekend

The 22nd edition of the Mayors Cup knock-out football tournament continues tomorrow, Sunday July 10 with double header action at the Victoria Ground, on the East Coast of Demerara.
In the opening game, Eagles from the mining town of Linden will come up against Uitvlugt at 18:00 hrs.
The second match of the evening will be a quarterfinal clash between Ann’s Grove and Cougars FC at 20:00 Hrs.
The top four prizes have been put up by Aruwai Resorts, Ansa McAl, John Fernandes and German’s Restaurant respectively.
The winner of the tournament will receive 0,000 and a trophy from Aruwai Resort. Runner up will receive 300,000 and the Ansa McAl trophy, third place will receive 0,000 and a trophy from John Fernandes while fourth place will take home 0,000 and the Ministry of State trophy. Winners will also receive hampers from Ricks and Sari.
Top scorer of the tournament will be rewarded with a 3-piece suite from AH&L Kissoon.
