The Timehri Rifle and Pistol Ranges at Yarrowkabra, on the Linden-Soesdyke Highway, came alive as a number of shooters sought to overthrow McKinnon, who has dominated 2018 with pistol in hand.
In a match where the top three category winners grabbed prizes in the form of cash and medals, McKinnon emerged winner in the limited category with an aggregate of 440.2476 points following his skills with the handgun, rifle and shotgun. The in-form Pravesh Harry with 377.5218 points copped second place while third place went to David Dharry, who shot 300.8722 points.
Former GSSF President Vidushi Persaud-McKinnon, Rajiv Latchana and James Singh were forced to settle for fourth, fifth and sixth. The production class was dominated by Michael Blake, who racked up 415.6330 points to take the top spot with Joshua Ramlakhan on 354.1800 points for second, Dallas Thomas third (329.0048) and Allemul Ali (307.2261) in fourth.
