McKinnon, Harry shine in GSSF/ Queensway Steel Challenge

Marksman Ryan McKinnon continued his form as he emerged on top following last weekend’s Guyana Sport Shooting Federation (GSSF)/Queensway sponsored Steel Challenge held at the Timehri Rifle Ranges.
The GSSF President endured good outings during the respective stages, some of which included “Five to Go, Roundabout and Accelerator”. He shot a total time of 61.82 to finish first in front second place shooter Pravesh Harry who clocked a time of 70.60.

Third and fourth place spots went to John and Andy Phang who recorded respective times of 76.18 and 81.09. Capping of the top five top shooters this past weekend, was former GSSF President Vidushi Persaud-McKinnon who clocked a total of 85.71 from her stages shot.
Meanwhile, the GSSF thanked long time sponsor and federation member Mr. Mohamed Qualander of Queensway Group of Companies Inc. Congratulations were also in order for the respective winners who helped make the one-day event a success. Also, the entire proceeds from the winnings from the Side-Match were donated to the GSSF President McKinnon.
