Simone Persaud, or as you may know her, “Sister Patsy” from the popular radio serial Merundoi, is an outspoken woman who is not afraid to share her opinions. Nervousness was never a factor for her as her confidence exudes all boundaries.
This confidence is what has catapulted her to higher levels within the acting fraternity and despite many challenges, she has managed to maintain her place in an arena that can devour the weak.
A mother of three fabulous children, who has proven time and time again that she is indeed a force to be reckoned with, Simone has been with “Nothing to Laugh About” for 11 years and has always delivered on stage. She has not only grown as an individual but as an actress.
A seamstress and designer by day, Persaud’s many talents make her an asset to the cast of NTLA. There is no doubt in our minds that Simone Persaud will rock the house when NTLA stages our 11th edition on June 1-4 at the National Cultural Centre.
