The main event brings together Police who will be seeking to arrest their opponents, Rosignol United. Both home teams and the fans will be coming out to ensure that they send their City opponents packing form the competition but the battle has to be won on the field of play.

Police has been turning heads ever since returning to competitive football in Georgetown and will fancy their chances of arresting Rosignol in tonight’s feature match. Rosignol will depend on the likes of Shaimar Arrindell, Darren Charles, Calvin McKenzie, Akeem Rigby, Jason Scott, Mark Wronge, Shane Gangoo, Tevin McKenzie, Desmond Weeks, Keenon Rajgopaul, Keon Rose, Cornel Taylor, Orin Nedd, Lawrence Nedd, Randy Arrindell, Mark Montgommery, Oswin Carmichael, Joshua Fordyce, Curtis Carmichael, Shamar Richmond, Curtis Moore and Odari Chan to deliver a win for them.

The opening match will see the East Bank based city team, Riddim Squad throwing down the gauntlet to Cougars in what is anticipated to be a keen contest. The Hope brothers will lead the charge for Riddim Squad, a side that has been among the best in the GFA.

Berbice’ Cougars will have a point to prove and would want to emulate fellow Berbice side, New Amsterdam United which knocked out East Demerara’s Golden Stars on Wednesday night last at the Golden Grove ground, East Coast Demerara.
