Men charged for assaulting, wounding each other

Two men have been cross-charged for assaulting and wounding each other.
Ramdial Nandalall, 69, a carpenter, and Rajish Ramdeal, 31, a joiner – both of Pigeon Island, East Coast Demerara (ECD) – appeared in Sparendaam Magistrate Alisha George’s court on Monday last. Nandalall has been charged with unlawfully wounding Ramdeal, while Ramdeal has been charged with assaulting Nandalall so as to cause him actual bodily harm.

They were arrested for the offences on October 31, 2021.
They each pleaded not guilty to the charges, and were each placed on $20,000 bail. Their next court date is January 31, 2022, for report and continuation.
