Milerock claim inaugural title

The inaugural champions of the Upper Demerara Football Association (UDFA) organised Frank Watson memorial Under 15 title are Milrerock who despite being held to a 1-1 draw finished ahead of their six other opponents on Saturday afternoon at the Wisburg Secondary School ground.
Milerock walked away with the top honours after being held to their second draw, a 1-1 result against Hi Stars while in the other game played Botafago who would ended in the second position also had to settle for a 1-1 draw with Amelia’s Ward while the other game between Topp XX and Silver Shattas did not play as Topp XX again were unable to find a team.

The Milerock under-15 Football team

Milerock remained the only team without a loss after playing six games with four wins and two draws for 14 points as Botafago with four wins , one draw and one loss for 13 points were second while another club with a similar record Amelia’s Ward placed third due to goal difference with Botafago scoring 12 and allowing four as the ward side netted ten times and were breached four times also.
Next were Silver Shattas with eight points from two wins, two defeats and two draws, followed by Hi Stars who also had two wins with three losses and one draw to get seven points. Topp XX were next on three points from one win and five losses to be ahead of Eagles United who finished on one pint due to five defeats and one draw.
