A 26-year-old man, of Guyhoc Park, Georgetown, and Plaisance, East Coast Demerara (ECD), was arrested on Tuesday after being found with a quantity of cannabis during a Police operation at the Mango Landing Police Outpost, Mahdia, Region Eight (Potaro-Siparuni).
According to Police, several individuals and their belongings were taken to the outpost for a search, during which the suspect was found in possession of a white plastic bucket with a false bottom containing cannabis.
He was taken into custody and escorted to the Mahdia Police Station, where the marijuana was weighed and amounted to 215 grams. Investigations are ongoing.
