Thirty-eight-year-old gold miner, Malcolm Browne, of Belmont Mahaica, East Coast Demerara (ECD), was charged with felonious wounding, when he appeared at the Mahaicony Magistrate’s Court before Magistrate Allan Wilson.
According to Police, the offence was committed on 53-year-old Nandal Persaud, of Mahaica Bridge, ECD, on November 2, 2025, at Mahaica Market, ECD.
Browne was not required to plea when the charge was read to him, and was remanded to prison.
The accused will make his next court appearance on November 12, 2025.
