Miner slapped with B&E charge

A miner, who allegedly broke and entered the home of a Subryanville, Georgetown, resident was on Wednesday released on $25,000 bail by Magistrate Fabayo Azore.
John Sullivan, formerly of Mahdia, Region Eight (Potaro-Siparuni), initially admitted to the charge which stated that on September 6, 2018, at Subryanville, he broke and entered the dwelling home of Roy Mack.
In an explanation to the court, the 47-year-old man claimed that he did not break into the house but rather noticed that no one was living there, and so, he entered and took a nap. As such, a not guilty plea was entered on his behalf.
The prosecutor made no objections to bail and he was released. The case will continue on October 17.
