Minister Norton in stable condition

Social Cohesion Minister, Dr George Norton’s condition has been listed as stable following a health scare, which led him to be admitted to the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit of the Georgetown Public Hospital (GPHC) on Thursday.

According to information reaching Guyana Times, the Social Cohesion Minister reportedly suffered a spike in his blood pressure. However, other sources had also informed that the Minister had suffered a mild heart attack.

The former Public Health Minister is a devoted athlete who prides himself in keeping fit. He was earlier this year taken from his position as the Health Minister and assumed responsibility as the Social Cohesion Minster.
