Independence Domino Tournament…
The Ministry of Communities, with 73 games, have won the Independence Day Inter-Ministries Knockout Domino Competition held on Friday at the Guyana Public Service Union hall; and have walked away with the Minister of Foreign Affairs Trophy and $40,000 for their efforts.
The Ministry of Agriculture won 67 games to take second spot, and were rewarded with a trophy and $20,000. Guyoil, with 64 games, claimed the third top spot in the nine-team competition.
The event, organized by James Lewis, had trophies donated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Carl Greenidge.
