Ten radiant and well groomed Amerindian women will take to the stage of the Natural Cultural Centre as they represent their respective villages with the hope of gaining the nods of the judges as the next Miss Amerindian Heritage queen.
The delegates have been selected from the 10 administrative regions of Guyana and are all ready to showcase their villages to the rest of Guyana. The pageant is set for September 30 at the National Cultural Centre.
Before the pageant, the delegates will be sashed at the Day of Sport and Family Fun Day at the Everest Cricket Club Ground on Saturday evening.
However, on pageant night, the regional representatives will be competing in opening dance and introduction, talent, intelligence, evening wear, traditional wear and the final question. In the intelligence segment, the delegates will be grilled on their respective platforms.
Tickets for the pageant cost 00, 00 and 00 and are available at the National Cultural Centre and the Indigenous People’s Affairs Ministry.
