She is athletically inclined and has signed up for swim classes and currently trains with a coach at the National Aquatic Centre. She is also a member of Youth Basketball Guyana and plans to spread her wings some more and join a track team soon. She loves to write stories and do illustrations to go along with it. She also enjoys watching a lot of craft videos and love learning how things are made. Still weighing out her careers choices for the future, her two options are becoming an artist or a design engineer or both of she could. Nikki as she is called enjoys dancing, playing tennis, going to church and spending time with her friends and family. Her favourite subjects are social studies and literacy studies. Her life’s ambition is to pursue studies in dentistry, become a dentist and own her own dental school. Nickassia LindorePrincess ArielFrom the Hauraruni Village on the Linden Soesdyke Highway. This eight year old Grade Three student of the Hauraruni Primary School enjoys going on adventurous trips with her family and swimming at the creek in her village. Her favourite colour is blue and she has an interest in communicating and socializing with new people. She is a dancer and her favourite gospel song is by Ada “The Final Say”. Salonge NilesPrincess CinderellaThis eight year old is a Grade Three pupil of St. Pius Primary School and is channelling her inner Cinderella in the Miss Guyana Princess Pageant. Salonge enjoys dancing, reading and watching television. Her favourite colour is pink and love to eat chowmein and fried rice. Her future ambition is to become a criminal lawyer so that she can be a part of the generation that will put away the bad guys. Shacmeaka Zakiyah MunroPrincess MulanThis smart and talented eight year old is presently a Grade 3 student of the prestigious Green Acres Primary School. She is also a pupil of the National School of Dance and the St. Angela’s Twirling Group. Shacmeaka enjoys dancing, singing, playing outdoor games and helping her mom in the kitchen to prepare delicious burgers and sandwiches for her family. She is your Princess Mulan. Siara Benjamin Princess Snow WhiteRepresenting Princess Snow White, Siara is presently a first form student at the Tutorial High School. Standing at 5.7”, this twelve year old has always been noticed for more than her height. She is family oriented, enjoys dancing, swimming, catching up with her friends and making videos. Siara has a special place in her heart for children affected by bullyism and hopes one day, this growing negative behaviour will be eradicated from schools. An aspiring entrepreneur, her favourite quote is “Do good and good will be done onto to you”. Tyricka Keneaisha ChapmanPrincess AuroraThis ten year old is currently a grade 5 pupil of North Georgetown Primary School. Her hobbies are singing, watching movies and playing games. Her favourite meal is chicken curry and mac and cheese. Her future ambition is to become a teacher. This year, Tyricka is representing Princess Aurora.
