The Ministry of Business (MoB) who partnered with the National Bureau of Standards walked away with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Domino competition trophy and the cash prize of $70,000 on Friday. They accumulated 74 points which was good enough to out-do the Ministry of Social Cohesion/National Culture Staff who had 68 points and won $35,000. Third place went to Transport and Harbours Department who had to settled for $20,000 after accumulating 64 points.
Organiser James Lewis expressed gratitude for the support of management and the participants which saw the host Ministry donate all the cash prizes, entrance fees and accolades for 13 teams which competed.
Meanwhile, in a tape ball tournament held under the auspices of Lewis on Sunday at Durban Park saw the Ministry of Public Infrastructure Road team securing the winners’ purse of $40,000 ahead of Supreme Court.
